Smokies Vacation

So Fall is here again, and we changed our plans from a Flordia trip to reteat back to the mountians of our youth in Tennessee and North Carolinia, the Smokies. With a resort destration in hand we set out to relax and cruse the mountian trails of miles of roads and one pull off after another and endless beauty of springs rivers and falls colorful show of leaves.

Brad's Graduation 2008

It has been a great day for seeing Brad Graduate with his Masters degree and having all the kids together at the house. It is such a blessing to always have them home and I could have never thought how special those times are now. Love Dad

What A Week

This has been an exciting week with Cathy and Terry's visit and the added heat from the weather has made things red hot, hot, hot.

Golf was on the mark and the smack talk was alive and well. The true test was how hot their game was, so it was hot times and hot putters and the guys had a great time.

As the heat goes on so did our home AC went down last nite but with a friend who works for an AC supply house he was able to talk me through a internal part replacement on our outside unit. I took digital photos of all the wiring before I unhooked them and making sure the power was off, procided to repalce the bad part. Success and we are staying cool for another day.
